Okay so he contacts me and tells me has a part I am looking for so we swap cells and start talking. It turns out he had 2 other items I was looking for to complete my ITR OBD II swap.

Communication
No Lagging on Shipping
Items were in super clean condition as described
No Drama

Even called me to explain that the people forgot to include the injectors and that they would follow behind shortly.

More people need to keep it clean like this and Honda-Tech would be a better place.

I just recently purchased a set of TWM ITBs from this seller. When I received them in the mail, the manifold was cracked at the flange and part of it was JB welded.

I have requested a full refund from him. I will let everyone know how this situation turns out.

Following is the replies that I got from Type R #462

Type R #462 (7:24 PM 1/7/2005): well the "crack" that you claim was there when i sent it to you does not effect anything. I never seen the crack there when i was packaging them up. I had a shop put them in my car for me and they also took them off. They did not inform me of any crack. Either way 50 percent is what i am going to charge. (restocking fee)

Type R #462 (12:02 PM 1/8/2005): Doesnt really matter what you put because you being a cry baby on honda-tech isnt going to do anything. I have more than 40-50 people that i have delt with and they all were satisfied. What you showed in the pictures doesnt effect the performance of the throttle bodies and also that is not jb weld it is gasket sealant if you want to take it off thats on you i just put it on so I was sure no air would leak out. You are NEVER going to get your money back so what you can do now is tell all of honda-tech what happened go cry cry cry and even make 1000 posts for all i care. your not going to get your money back. I sold you twm itbs with all the hardware that was needed to put them into your car. If your mad about the 2 12mm bolts that i might have lost then i will send you them back or $3 which would be the cost to replace them. Either way your not getting a refund

What a load of ***.

Shipping a bunk part is as bad as not shipping it at all..

I say SCAMMER.

Cracked ish is bunk.

Funny how you 2 ladies are friends from the same place. Anyways the TWM ITBS are in working order. So what if I put some gasket sealant on them so i would be sure they would not leak when i put them on my car. Either way all sales are final

Matt Johnston is indeed a good friend of mine. He is rather ladylike.

I guess I will have to put some of that gasket sealant on the cracked flange.

restocking fee? what kinda crap is that, was this discussed and agreed upon buy both parties before the sale?

sorry man, you owe that guy a refund, if i were to get these ITBs in the mail, i'd be just as upset. he seems to be handling it in a nice manor even after you have not.
