ive been shopping for engine parts and i keep hearing h22a h22b and a few others. i was wondering what the engine model for a 97 2.2 CL I4 VTEC(no DOHC) is. or if you could tell me where to look to find out what it is. ive been shopping for parts and nobody sells perf stuff for a CL. im trying to figure out the engine model so i can buy eng parts for other cars that have the same engine. thanx for any help or Nfo.

 

you can put just about any honda I4 in the four cylinder CL. they standardized so many parts in some of the less expensive acura models. (from honda i mean)

so check out acura-cl.org (maybe its .com), but i would almost bet the H22s would fit in your car without too much work
