It's worth $40 just for me to avoid raising the hood to clear a freak'n code from the back o2 sensor...
and yes, I've tried the electronic patch for the back o2 & it didn't work, so either I'm an idiot (this is rhetorical) or I had a bad component.

Anyone ever notice that clearing the CEL with an OBDII reader doesn't work half as well as just pulling the negative terminal off the battery?
An OBDII reader will clear my CEL for about 3-4 days, but pulling the negative terminal off the battery keeps the CEL off for 2-3 weeks.
