Default torque converter

i'm looking to get a race torque converter for my car. what i heard was there are some places that will take your existing torque converter, and change the stall points etc. i was wondering if that is the best way to do it. and if there is a good shop in los angeles that would be able to do this.

i'm wanting to do this because i'm changing out my transmission so i figure i might as well get a race torque converter while i'm at it. it will be going on a daily driver. i'm not sure what specs for the torque converter would be best.

if you guys can give me any help with that. i may or may not turbo my car in the future. i have an 2000 accord, and will not be track racing it. thanks,

If your in cali your best bet would be to look up JMO they will modify your existing one. They have a very good reputation for there work.
