Idle adjustment screw
Please dont flame me ... i DID search before but none of the thread were helpfull enough.
I'm trying to adjust my idle cuz its at 500 and the car is shaking (feels like its about to stall) I want it to raise up to 700-900. According to Haynes i supposed to unplug the IAC sensor then adjust the screw. Only problem I cant find the screw! I know its says its supposed to be ON the throttle body. And its a big flat screw. I can't find it.... I just dont wanna screw anything up... A picture of it would be really helpfull.
Its a 5th gen LX Accord. Please help!

Look at #1 over on the right. I think it should be inside the throat, so you have to take off the intake air tube (from the air cleaner).
Check what I posted elsewhere. Don't just mess with that, there's a procedure for adjusting the base idle. Is it in your book?
Yea, the book says, warm up the engine, unplug the AIC, then engine will start to sputter and may even stall, then ai should adjust the screw to about 450. Shut the engine off. PLug back the AIC, reset ECU and I should be around 700-800 next time I start it. BTW AIC connector is numbers 19? like that whole thing?
Yeah, #19 is the idle air control valve (IACV), #20 is it's gasket.
You're just supposed to disconnect the wiring harness from it. You can unbolt it from the manifold to clean it, but that's not the idea for the base idle setting.
If you've got a flaky idle, also try cleaning out the fast-idle thermo valve (FITV) (#14).
