I have to get new speakers for the front door in my 2000 ls. I've gone to some websites that you tell them what car you have and it tells you what size speakers to get. However, when I enter my info, it says 5 1/4 AND 6 1/2 will fit. Is this correct? Well the teg take both sizes? If so, is there any I have to do to make the 6.5 fit? Or is it bolt on?

Any info is much appreciated.

6.5" will fit as long as the top mount depth is no larger than about 1.75"
