What exact part could be damaged?
Hey whats up guys,
I was wondering if anyone could give me an opinion on the problem I have with my front right side wheel...I did my h22 swap (95 coupe) in June and drove around a good month and a half with my steelies on and I didn't get much vibration through the steering wheel or the car, then I picked up a set of 16's off a friend and drove with them on and had hardly any vibration as well, but now the winter time has come and I threw on the steelies and when I took the car for a boot it just vibrates through the steering wheel and pedals. As soon as you let go of the steering wheel and continue driving the steering wheel will steer back and forth by itself...so I went home and jacked the car up and played around with the right side wheel and it has some play to it. The wheel will move in and out and side to side when applying pressure. I know it's not the wheel bearing yet cause I did them a few weeks ago with my Si and you can tell with the noise, but what exactly could this problem be? Ball joints worn out, tie rods, control arm????
The car now has been parked for a few weeks cause I just don't want this wheel to go flying off if anything lets go on me.
Thanks alot!
