I had a black 2/3dr EG front bumper painted silver to put it on my 4dr EG.
The bumper had the outer vents painted and the inner vent unpainted.
I had the painter paint al vents so I can paint them black if I like.
But I'm not sure if I should paint all 3 vents, only the outer vents or none at all.
An unpainted VIS RS lip is going under the bumper, i've got unpainted EK skirts and unpainted doormoldings on my 4dr.

Post up some pics/opinions/links to other threads on this subject please.

It's just personal opinion, but I HATE the front grill painted. I prefer it black. The outside ones I like black also, but if they're painted, it doesn't stand out as much, since the 94-95's come painted.

and now none are painted


i prefer them unpainted

painted looks like ****, all black looks the best.

just leave the middle grill black

 

none painted just because it look better

maybe just leaving the grill black..

 

leave all black....it cheapens the look of the car when you paint the grills.

 

whatever you do, make the middle black

 

Heres a 2dr bumper on my 4dr.I left them unpainted,came out good I think.

 

i never would have thought that leaving all three of the pieces unpainted would make the car look so much better!!!

im was having the same problem, but i thing im gonna paint all the vents black

 

black vents makes the car a better looking.

 

Can't really see but my lip is painted and the vents are not.. i like it like that.

Thats a sick 4dr, was the whole front end changed or just the bumper?

another option is tocut them all out to make room for an intercooler and piping... otherwise all black

i believe the whole front has to be changed

 

the whole front doesnt HAVE to be changed but everything doesnt line up as well, unless you mess with the support

 

Leave all of them black....otherwise it looks like you got a bad paint job .
