is it ok to run power and speaker wires for front doors near each other?
Am i going to have any interface? Also, when i turn the car off or the stereo off, i get a small cracking sound coming from the speakers. What is causing this? Any help would be great
you can run speaker wires with piwer wire, but you cannot run your rac (signal cables ) with the power wires or you will get engine noise(whine with motor)
hope this helps.

You shouldn't have any interference, but it's still advisable to separate everything. I've found the best way to run wires is power wire along the driver side, RCA's on the passenger side, and speakers through the center.
The cracking sound is the the capacitors in your amp discharging.

Man, I know you're not supposed to run speaker wire with power wire and signal cable.
But guess what? Every system I've put together has had the power and signal wire run down the same side right beside each other (mostly because I'm lazy) My current install even has both rear speaker wires run along side aswell, I have never had ANY problems with interference, static, distortion nothing. It sound incredible.
I guess I'm just lucky that way.. hehe
