Default Can I use old throttle body??

So i finally found a y8 intake manifold for 99-00 civic at a yard here for $75. Do you think that price is reasonable? I was also wondering.... Will my old throttle body from my automatic setup work with the new intake manifold. The only difference i can see is the IAC is on the intake manifold on the manual. I was just thinking of leaving the old IAC on the throttle body so no air would come in that way... Unless anyone has a throttle body that will work for a 99-00 civic ex manual drive that won't charge me an arm and a leg. the yard wanted $150 for it and i was like.. no thanx... that's the only peice i need to finish off my auto to manual conversion!!! thank god!!! thanx all!

What car is it going on? If you have a 96-98 intake mani you'll have to do something about the the air injection holes. If you have the downdraft intake manifold now, you'll need a spring/throttle plate from a y8 intake mani as well.
