Cams questions
yes, but why would you want to rev higher on stock internals? just because you get aftermarket cams isn't about reving past stock redline. They make power throughout the powerband.

I'm not sure if anyone really answered his question.
Putting in aftermarket cams will not raise the rev limit. Modifying the entire head, in fact, won't raise the rev limit either.
That's done with either an aftermarket ECU (whether piggyback or standalone) or a modified stock one. You must determine if you are even making power over your stock rev limit, and then you must make sure your head is capable of reving that high (making sure you have the necessary reinforcements, such as springs, retainers, etc).

Don't forget the bottom end as well. Stock blocks will only last so long if they're revved to the sky. And to reinforce Shamoo...no, aftermarket cams will NOT raise your redline, but they most likely would make peak power higher in the RPM range.
