I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area and does anyone know where I can get a SMOG... ? Or just the paperwork done, and also how much would it cost nowadays? thanks.

 

is it just a smog test or a ref issue? if its just smog i would just go to a lil mom and pop smog place and see if somethin could be worked out, if you were in so cal maybe i could help you better

 

yeah im with the guy above.. if you have to take it to a test only station then it might be pretty tough. but if you can take it to any smog shop then your chances are greatly increased. either find a ma and pop joint or hole in the while type preferably with preferences from someone else. if you get lucky theyll "play" with the car to get it to pass or let you bring in another car and just use your info. from being in so cal the usual fees go anywhere from 150 to around 300 so it can get pretty pricey but thats what you gotta deal with livin in cali. this is just what ive heard from other people though.. so i wouldnt know from personal experience..

 

Damn it search this **** has been covered lots of times, here is what I did\, I took my car to s shop, payed them $200 they made sure my car passed smog do you have any hook up like that? if so go to them pay them extra $$$$$$$ they will pass it.
