Default replacing steering wheel...hard?

as said on my other post, someone has tried to steal my car by cutting into my steering wheel. i have found a replacement but was wondering how hard it would be in replacing it. is there any tricks in keeping it aligned? will the airbag be an issue at all? what about the wirings? if anyone has done this, let me know what you think and if ther's any tips you can give. any help is appreciated. thanks in advance. oh, and it's a 95 gsr.

You won't really need to worry about keeping the alignment perfect. If you keep your tires straight, just adjust the hub so that everything lines up. Go for a test drive and if it doesn't feel right you would have to take off the steering wheel, depending on your hub/wheel, again and adjust the hub so that everything is perfect.

What kind of steering wheel is it? Most take no wiring since they don't have the cruise control/horn features on them... then again some do.

Right-O, I don't know how to take off the steering wheel though.

i've heard on a diffrent post that it's two torx bolt for the airbag and one 17mm nut that holds the steering wheel. can someone confirm on this? and what size is the torx?

yeah...
There are 2 torx bolts that hold the airbag module on/
I think one's underneath the cover for the cruise control buttons and the other
one's on the other side.
I don't know what size they are.
The steering wheel is held on by a 17mm nut, I believe.
Be careful with the airbag cable reel.
If you twist too much, you can break the cable and be in much bigger trouble
trying to find a new reel at a junkyard (speaking from experience).
To align the steering wheel when putting it back on, make a mark on the bolt and then on the wheel itself.
