how to shave off side molding...
i'm trying to shave off the side-molding on my 95 'teg ls (2dr)...
...one of my friend's said i had to use bondoe, if so...what else would i have to use in conjunction with bondoe to get it done, and if you have prior experience please share, any help would be greatly appreciated (too broke for that pretty flat jdm molding)

Well , most people would not recommend bondoe, unless ur cheap and ghetto, get it done right and get it welded, will look a lot better as well. make sure you take off your side mouldings properly too, by taking the inside of the door off and unhooking the latches. If you had a helms manual it tells u exactly but i dont feel like searching .
Look into duraglass, it is a fiberglass resin, its like concrete dry. Bondo is a plastic filler used for small dents and whatnot. If you can't weld i would say duraglass is your best next step.
Duraglass is very nice, but try UPOL Fiberall. It drys very hard, it's waterproof and resists shrinking. Get them welded if you know someone who knows what they are doing, don't want to warp the thinmetal. I'd use a fiberglass filler and go at it.
