If I were to put an Z6 head (OBD-1) on an A6 block in an 88-91 CRX Si (OBD-0), and used a P28 ECU (OBD-1), would I need an OBD-0 to OBD-1 conversion harness?

 

you dont necessarily have to purchase a conversion harness, but your distributor and oxygen sensor must match your ecu in terms of obd.

 

So could I use an A6 O2 sensor and Distributor on a Z6 head?

 

reread my first reply and think a little harder.

 

u dont need to run a harness, it all depends on the distro you use...

u can hack an A6 to fit on their (u can stay obd0 and rig something up for vtec activation), or u can do it right and run a P28 (convert to OBD1 and run the z6 distro and run the motor to its potential)...

so its actually ur choice, u just need to run the distro with the correct ecu, or else it wont work...
