You will be hard pressed to find comments anywhere from people who have used these tires. I've been all over the internet, and nobody will offer comments. Either they are the best kept secret in motoring, or nobody has used them.

On the other hand, I just had a set installed on my 2001 SS this morning. I had 225/50/16 installed on my Rota Slipstreams. Before this set, I had 225/45/16 Toyo Proxes T1-S tires on the same rims. I drove about 80miles on them today, and I really like them. They are impressively quiet, and they seem as grippy as the Toyos. The treadwear/traction/temperature ratings are identical between the two tires. I got just under 25k miles on the Toyos, so time will tell how the Coopers will wear. Time will also tell how they really work. I expect some settling of the tire to occur after more driving, and I'll use them in more situations. I'll know then how they really compare to the Toyos. However, for the price, I think they are a real deal.

I've never heard anything about coopers, but do know they're used in England quite a lot - may be a mixed bag. A quick look over the Tirerack.com site, for your size, shows that the Kumho Ecsta MX is available in that size and I'd highly reccomend these (I've got them on my car now, and am impresed). As well as the Advan Neova - it's more money than the MX, and I'm unsure if the grip is any better, but if you're inclined, you could give them a try ; although, the new Azenis will be coming in your size soon, as will the new Hankook tire. Not knowing your intedend use/climate , I assumed you were looking for a dry season, high performance tire - if that's not the case, then let us know what you need.

theyll be going on my 98 silver prelude and soon to have cf hood and trunk. im in cali LA area and it will rain quite a bit during winter suposed to be "el nino" or something. im getting them for 98$$ a tire not to mention a killer warranty. my whole family haas used cooper but their driving accord's and oddessy's...and dont drive hard so thats why I'm worried about the performance deal.
