I'm looking for the lower assembly for manual windows for a 96 hatch. Apparently after 160k miles...they wear out.

This is the scissor-like mechanism that lifts/lowers the glass when you crank the handle... yep, i think that about describes it.

I know someone has either upgraded to power, or is parting out a shell. Help a brotha out. I have to ash in a pringles can b/c i can't roll down my window. Ghetto.

you mean window regulator...dang it i had one.

 

I'm not sure. I don't know what the actual name of the part is. I guess i should check in a Helms. It's the whole apparatus in the door that lifts the glass...or regulates the window height. Ya know, maybe it is a regulator. i dunno.
