Default D15 - D16 swap info??

First ??.......92-95 D15 block.......will the D16 Y8 Vtec head bolt on to the 1.5L block?? This is a budget build for this guy, thus the D15 block.

Second........can someone direct me to the best info link for this swap??

Thanks in advance!!

i would try doing a search, and/or posting in the hybrid forum. but to my knowledge, which isn't to great on the mini me swap, is that it should bolt on.

The swap is pretty basic, just like changing a headgasket. It's good to get the larger Y8 intake manifold with the head also, but your stock one will fit alright. Here's a couple tips:
1) You need to get headbolts or headstuds for the Y8 engine.
2) Get yourself a 92-95 Si or EX engine harness
3) Get a P28 engine computer, it plugs right in ready to play
4) There *might* be an oil control jet on top the block ib a hole at the back between the 2 middle cylinders, if it's there pull it out before installing the new head.

Thanks ALL for your input!!! I'm gonna pursue the above link, but if anyone has any input on the potential issue for proper timing on this particular swap (as I 've heard may be a problem), post up!
