going down to e-town the last night of the season to get some runs in...quick question
opinion - should i launch into vtec...at around 5k? and slip the clutch
tires - what should i deflate them down to
any other pointers welcomed....got 1/4 tank of 94 in right now.....no extra weight

i have heard and seen people launch from 2500-3500 and have good times. depends i guess on the car, and the driver IMO.

Are you confident enough in your driving skills to launch at 5k. If not you'll probably spin the hell out of tires. Will your clutch hold that abuse. Alot of things you need to know about your car and how you can handle them. I launch at 5k. Alot of people say thats too high but I don't seem to have a problem doing it. I guess my only advice to you would be to launch where you are most comfortable and where you can keep wheel spin, wheel hop and bogging to a minimum.
