B16 swap, engine sputters, reverse sensor polarity?
i read somewhere that you have to reverse some sensor's wire polarity when you swap the b16 into a civic. if not the engine sputters every now and then.
i get this sputter like the ignition isnt working and then press the gas down and it jumps and goes away. i was thinking it could be that sensor or something swap related. any ideas? never cared that much or i would have checked the distributer cap. new plugs and wires.

If you convert from dual point injection to multi point, you have to swap the outer 2 wires for the throttle position sensor, there are posts on this with the correct colors to swap if you search.
what is dual port injection?
the computer and TB are all from the B16 car, so only the wires would be different. ist that the problem?

If you don't know what dual point injection is, you didn't do a conversion, so thats not the problem. Your sputtering has to do with something else.
first off i didnt do the swap.
but, i dont see why it would matter unless it was wiring. becuase, engine intake man. exha. man TB everything is from 87 crx sir,
so it should work fine, ecept for wiring.
