Default Interested in "Mugen" front brakes for your ITR?

I can put together a front brake kit that is identical to a Mugen 300mm front disc. It would be the same but without the Caliper painted gold and the word Mugen on it and also the price wouldnt be as much.

If you are interested, please give me an email.

Thanks!

So you've got a source for those "active gate" rotors?

You're going to have to supply a bit more information to get some interest with this.

OK what Im saying is that I have the calipers, yes Mugen calipers are S2.

Rotors, I have found something that will work with the caliper. The "active gate" nonsense is a bunch of hype-I hope many of you guys didnt buy into this and if you did I hope I am not offending you because you did afterall pay for those high priced parts.

I dont mean to too my horn or anything, but working for a brake company has given me the inside scoop into every aspect of brakes I could ever dream of knowing for what I do (street driving and road racing). I take that back, I'd like to learn more about ceramic rotor and Carbon Carbon brakes.

Anyway, you can have these brakes, same torque reaction and pedal as a Mugen brake kit without the Mugen price...you can paint the calipers gold and add the Mugen logo too if it pleases you!

"...With the Active-Gate Brake System, the unique rotor cross-sectional design actively draws cooling air from the rotor interior. This revolutionary braking system minimizes heat deformation to maintain a responsive pedal touch."

Could you show me a set of floating rotors -- 2 piece or not -- with directional vanes and won't cost you an arm & leg?

I don't own the Mugen AGB, so I didn't get offended by your comment. But I did find that your above comment is more nonsense than anything else.

Umm, okay. Any information to back up your opinion? Mugen doesn't employ a team of engineers for no reason. And yes, I have met a few of them.

You still haven't given us any info on your "comparable" set-up.

Sandor knows his brake stuff, but I still like those huge vents on the mugen rotors

If I don't know what I would be getting then How would I know if its worth the money?

And by letting so much time go by with out answering my question, I fear that there is something to hide on your half.

If not,,, list up what your selling and a price.

I think it's a simple solution, Any one else?

Then why so slow to post up more information? I have been seriously considering the AGB system lately, so the thought of a cheaper, yet comparable alternative intrigues me (although I cannot resist teh m00gen :bling: ).

I can't answer for him, but here's a pic from one of Yosh's previous AG posts showing how big the vents are:

All depends on what you're willing to pay for. At the rate I cook rotors, its not worth it for me.

Wouldn't the cooling characteristics of the rotor prolong their lifespan?
