Hi, I have a JDM EK9 CTR here in the UK. Want to keep it NA, and use it next year on the 1/4 mile, and possibly track. The car is not a daily driver and is just used at weekends for pleasure.

I have been looking at various cams, but don't want to get something that is going to be similar to my stock CTR cams. I have been looking at the Toda VTEC Killer Cams and an AEM or Hondata ECU. What do you guys think of these cams? Has anyone ever used them, if so what in?

There are two routes which I can take,

1. Keep the CTR Cams, put some adjustable Cam Gears on, to see if I can get anything more from them. Also add an ECU.

2. Go with another set of Cams, such as Toda VTEC Killer Cams and add a suitable ECU. Maybe also progress onto Toda ITB’s

Anyone played with a B16B, what are you running?

toda cams are nice, but their ramps are very messed up and there is close to no valve spring that will last. good bye reliability

with such a rev happy motor, you may just want to get some stage 2 cams that can still produce some semblence of low-end torque.

If it was my car, ITB's and a good tune would be high on my list after a set of nice (not crazy) cams.
