Front lip/splitter/airdam for 96-00 Civic?
I destroyed my front lip at the last lapping day of the season a few weeks back and I figured I'd take this opportunity (and the long MN winter) to build a lip/splitter/airdam for my 96 Civic. The car comes out of the garage for about 3000 miles a year and gets used mainly for lapping days now, so no, this is not your average blingtastic, stunnerific piece.
Does anyone have any suggestions or pics that I can get some ideas from? Thanks in advance!

Um, thanks . . . but I was looking for 96-00 Civics specifically . . . and yes, I did see the post by 6ghatch, but I was looking for more examples. Can't ask a question anywhere on this board anymore.

That word "mainly" is your problem. If you build one that will be effective on track, you WONT be able to use it on the street period. I can't back my car out of the driveway just to get it on the trailer, let alone go up the trailer!
If you use the car on the street ever, or it is a street car at all, don't bother wasting your time building one.

Check out http://www.roadracegear.com
They are good guys and the products are well built and rebuildable for when/if something happens.

Unfortunately Road Race Gear does not have an application for the 96-98 Civic. Otherwise that is the route I'd take. I checked into them making one for my application and the expense was considerable to build a one-off.
I am probably bringing this back from the dead but RRG actually has a front spliter for your car now (96-98 civic) not sure if your still interested but hes working on DIY kits and complete kits.
hope it helps

Andrie and Slammed 93 Hatch have good examples to go by. Year doesnt matter.. its the principle and fabrication that are important. As long as you know where its going to mount to. The materials are more a less the same.
