I'm hoping to be there but things are a little "up in the air" right now. We've sold our house and have to be out by the end of the month
Still have to pack the entire house and contents of the 2 car garage into our POD that's arriving tomorrow.
Christian, who's at work... sick

it is pretty tough, huh?
edit:
looks like our closing has been delayed so we won't be packing all our crap into the POD this weekend
guess I'll be attending the whitehouse event. You gonna show up Jesse?

Cool. I need some help burning through whats left of my V700's... they're starting to get hard
You think we can get enough runs/wear on them to cord them this weekend?
Christian, who's probably going to switch to 225/45 15's for next season... not sure what manufacturer though.

Well, if someone was willing to let me beat on their ESP-prepped STi at Whitehouse, I'd go there instead!

yeah... um, so that could have gone better...
on the good side:
-FAST course, like carry 4th gear, 90+ mph finish
-lots of friends at event
BAD stuff:
-Xian's car boiled brake fluid like no tomorrow after also getting pad fade with Cobalt GTs. I didn't think the course was THAT brake intensive, other than the last 90-0 at the finish.
-Another friend's STU M3 had to be towed home from mis-shifting to 2nd instead of 4th.
-another local guy's '72 Porsche 911 T locked up a tranny
-first heat, where we worked, last over 2 hours in the hot November Florida sun.

Ian?
We ran at DeLand today. Yeah, it's old black top vs. concrete, but it's also 20 minutes from home vs. about an hour and a half. Still, had fun, and the Civic did well. Didn't win, but the car was fun. Can't wait to start getting it prepped for STS.

yep.
Well, I think that I know what contributed to the boiled front brake fluid... high speed finish then directly to parking in grid (no real room to drive around and cool the brake system), 13x9 wheels with little to no ventilation, dust shields still in place further limited air flow, 2 drivers, old fluid. Anyway, if I go to 15" or 16" wheels for next year, the airflow issue shouldn't be a problem in the future
otherwise, I'll just need to make a point of driving around grid for a few minutes after fast runs to get the brake temps down.
Christian, who's kinda surprised that the GT-sports held up as well as they did given that the outer pad was registering 475 degrees on its metal backing and the front wheel centers were right at 300 degrees

Ian. sucks that somethings broken (bent valves?)... hope that it won't be too expensive.

Results are up ...http://www.buccaneerregion.org...4.pdf
Fun event, I too need some fresh brake fluid. my pads were smokin when we came in for driver changes. It could have been because i threw on a fresh set of ultimates and didnt do any driving on them except for in the paddock.
5th out of 14 with the drifter setup aint too shabby

I was pretty surprised to see results up this morning...
5th out of 14 in SM with an FSP Civic ain't too bad at all. Then again 4th out of 14 with only my coned first run doesn't suck too much either
