If anyone can do it, it will cost you out the rear to pay for it.

not possible to ADD a 6th gear to a b-tranny there no room.

you COULD get an aftermarket tranny w/ a 6th im sure.. but BLING BLING $50,000+ for it im sure.

You are probably a little tight on space with just 5 gears. It isn't impossible but it isn't really practical either in my opinion. To much $$$

Why? Theres really no need for it, I find the gearing sufficient. All your really going to do is make first more useless.

It's been done. There's a drivetrain manufacturing plant here in holland wich made a gearbox for an integra. Custom case, custom gears, custom price tag.
It barely passed the 10 grand mark. Just so you know.

Quaife builds a sequential one. I think it runs ~$18k, a bargain at twice the price.

$5,241.06

For all that money you may as well get a K series and be done. Especially $18,000, I don't consider that a bargain considering you could make an adapter plate for the K trans on the B block, although a sequential is highly badass...

Nor do I. You could get yourself a used rsx, or celica, or even an s2k for $18k. That was sarcasm.

Sure if 18k is the going rate I will discount a thousand bucks!!! There is some friendly sarcasm involved.

I have never found "different" a good reason to do anything, I always thought "better" was a good criteria.

Doubt it. They do sell a spiffy box with dog clutches though. Nice $5K price tag.

Dog boxes are nasty..My friend has one on his street driven Bridgeport rotary..
Any shifts below 6000rpm grind..Its not really a grind since they have no synchros but that's what it sounds like..
HKS Dogbox tranny..and it cost more then his car will ever be worth..

YOu can just buy an RSX Type-S shiftknob and you'll have six gears....just dont shift to 6th when you're on the go....
