Default Memoryfab Carbon Fiber Intake = J's Racing Intake?

My friend bought the MemoryFab Intake last week and when we compared it to the J's racing intake they both seem to use the same intake and shape except for the weave being different. Our body shop said the memoryfab weave and resin is much better but i don't care for show but flow.

The price is almost half of the J's too? Has anyone had any dyno experience with them? why half the price and more expensive weave?

J's

vs.

Memoryfab's

I think they are 150 for H-T members, unless the price went up recently.

Gimme a memoryfab intake anyday over paying 300 or so for a J's. Or even more cheaper just get the plastic one's on ebay for like 60 and just strip the paint off since they come in brightass colors that'll but your retina's out!

If you get the ebay one's, make sure you sand that nasty inner lip on the TB side. Also, I created my own velocity stack on the filter they give you by carving a nice rounded funnel shape within the filter. These two things alone should make some minor improvements to the flow.

$60 Ebay fake j's = $200 ABS plastic j's. Everyone gets the intake from the same factory in Taiwan and slaps their name on it.

That might be true in a lot of situations but can anyone that has a real plastic J's confirm whether the intake tube has a nasty INNER lip on the TB side? Aslo, can anyone confirm whether the MemoryFab or J's filter has a built in velocity stack?

I've asked this before and never really gotten an answer, has anyone ever fit a whale ***** intake in an EF, or does anyone know for certain whether or not it will fit? Sorry I'm not trying to jack the thread.

from the looks of it, the j's racing looks more like carbon kevlar as opposed to memoryfab's pure carbon fiber.

but i may be wrong.

I think its just the lighting, the J's is all CF, the resin looks a little bumpy I think its just the light reflecting off the bumps
