Very nice!
Few questions:
- where did you get the re-drilling done?
- For the Brembo blanks are you saying that the prelude/accord and type R rotors are the same but the rsx-s, tl ones are different, right? and you recommend the prelude/accord/typer because you dont have to grind as much off the caliper?
Thanks for the great post!

I got mine done at a place called race concepts but they have since then closed. I dont really know if the rsx-s and tl ones are the same or different offset as the preludes due to the fact that I dont think the rsx-s was even out when i first did these. Ive heard that the legend disc are thicker and therefore you have to grind more material off.

I am looking to doing this on my car over the winter. I was wondering where you have to grind the caliper bracket and your post answers that question very nicely. Nice write up

yep basically grind the bracket where the bolts go down evenly with the rest of it.....on the other hand, if you do it and leave the grindings on the concrete then they will rust to it and never come up.....fyi.

good write up, and it's great to see pics,
i have been planning to do this for a while, but i feel guilty for adding all that weight, and now i'll be adding more to it and since i want to use the sock (itr) brakcets i won't be using the legend pads.....
i've heard they don't inrease stopping as much without ABS
call me weak but i'm thinking now maybe i'll save for the spoons.
:sigh: i just don't know
-thad- who has a sizable debt to pay off before even thinking of brakes

I think all the year NSX calipers are the same, but I wouldnt really know because Ive never done NSX calipers.
you have to get a bigger master cyl at all? wonder what kinda affects running bigger brakes like those have on it.

I didnt and it was fine for the fronts and stock rears, whenever i upgraded to the bigger rears I probably should have gone to a 1" MC for a little firmer pedal feel but it still had enough to lock up the tires *cough cough* I mean make the abs kick on.
nice write up.. now i gotta search the junk yards for those Legend calipers.. Wonder how much they cost brand new at the auto parts store, ie advance or autozone...

idk, they usually do a "swap" + core charge, so with the core charge probably $250+ for the pair.

what did you upgrade to for the rears? i was wondering if you could do the twin piston caliper in the front, then use a stock front gsr rotor and caliper in the rear and a 1" master cylinder. did you use a front gsr rotor and caliper for your rears?

you cant use front calipers in the back because you would loose the ebrake system as they are built in adjusters and all. If you didnt care then maybe but i doubt it.

This is why i didnt do the fronts to rear. I did the RSX-S rears.
