If you don't know what you are talking about, then you need to spend a few years learning about engines and how to make power and then how to drive a car with power.

first, don't mean to be rude or anything, but you're not aiming for a real 500HP CRX or anything, like your name states??? J/W

And as for the investment, civics/CRX's, cars in general, don't seem to hold their value with mods very much, so you're definitely going to lose money if you sell the car.

Anything more you need to be more specific with what power/times you're aiming for.

I hate people who say "money isn't an object"

If money isn't an object, go buy an SVT cobra and a whipple charger run 25 psi through it.

Specifics...

What block? What model CRX do you have? HF, standard, SI? I don't recommend doing any mods on the HF, and none are really fit to be boosted/modded extremely. If money is not an issue then go have some shop slam an H22 into the thing. It will NOT be cheap but if you boost that then you'll have a beast.

The CRX/civic were originally meant to be economy cars. If you put enough horsepower/torque through them they will break. Little things at first, but they're not meant to take out corvettes all day, that wasn't their original purpose. That quote has alot of truth to it. If money is not an issue, go get a race car and mod that.

But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

No, you dont... haha

A race block and a race head... why not go about aquiring a b20 block and a b16 civic type r head build up the b20 block with some high compression pistons and steel rods (titanium eat cranks<--but im sure you already knew that from a "mechanical aspect") get a stand alone fuel management sys a 75 shot of nawwz and your well on your way to a big bunch of troubles that you will be back here askin us about..

him:D. I was mostly referring to this post. Hard to read and barely made sense, absence of punctuation, had to re-read multiple times, etc.:

compared to:
