That was pretty stoopid.

If Arai's are just overpriced junk, why would guys go and buy them time and time again? People aren't that stupid. And brand loyalty only goes so far.

The quality difference is there. You can tell just by looking at them. JD Power and Associates seem to agree. More people are satisfied with Arais. Period.

I believe if you polled a variety of riders (hah! and you thought the polling-crapola was done with three weeks ago), you'd see some people who upgraded from brand X helmet to Arai and wonder why they didn't do so sooner. And I'm sure you'll also find ex-Arai owners who swear they'll never spend three to five hundred for a helmet again.

I thought this video would be funny, since we all know Arai has a well-deserved reputation of being expensive. As for me, I don't care much for JD Power & Associates - my own personal experience means much more to myself (good lord, that almost sounded like a line from Austin Powers).

Its not just Arai that expensive. Look at Suomy, AGV, and Shoei. I'm not talking retail 'cause I know Arai's retail is outrageous but I'm talking about street prices.

They're all about the same.

arai/shoei/etc etc are all great helmets but they ARE expensive...

my HJC feels way better than my friend's shoei....granted the design/paint on the outside is badass, i dont see any differences in protective quality tho, and thats what really matters
