Default tranny choice

guys might pick up this tranny m2b4, its from a 98 JDM prelude type s. It is from this guy who says the place that took it out, told him is did NOT have LSD, but it did have ATTSI thought that tranny code is for the LSD tranny. Is there a mistake is some of this info the guy gave me. My car is a USDM 99 NON-sh, and i was wondering of that tranny could fit it my car? whether its LSD or ATTS.

It should fit in your car but the ATTS wont work so its just added weight. No the ATTS is not a LSD it is an Anti Torque Transfer System. Actually the opposite of a LSD. An LSD will keep both drive wheels spinning the same and the ATTS will apply more power to one side as it senses slipage.

haha i understand all that, i was just curious if it would even work if i didnt have anything to hook the ATTS up to, if its just extra weigh i dont think its worth it, ill just try to wait it out for for a LSD tranny
