OT:looking for virgin itr
hi everyone,
after selling my 2000 py itr a couple years ago after insanely high insurance pemiums, i was left with a stock 1995 civic hatch.
Anyways, after 5 long years of university, i am finally graduating from a respectable program. And i have taken the decision to purchase a virgin itr to relive those years enjoyment.
I know this doesnt really belong in this forum and should be redirected to vehicles for sale, BUT i know most all itr users check out this forum in particular.
So, looking for any year, CW (read no yellow or black), 100% stock, never modified, mint, and of course, very very very low miles on it (read:under 5000miles). Please, if any of you a currently garaging one of these beautys, i need one.
hoping to get some responses, thank you all.

It's nearly impossible to find a 97-98 STOCK with under 50k miles for what you want to pay. Pay $35k if its that important to have a white ITR with under 50k miles. Your best bet is a 00-01 with under 50k miles which can be had for $15-20k.
be realistic...the only people who would even have one regardless of color/year with less than 5K miles are people who intentionally kept it that way and who will want PREMIUM for their investment. if anyone out there has one close to your described condition, he would have to be a collector or a very busy owner who had hardly any time to drive...one of the 15 cars he owns, but still knows the value of the R. last sold mint/new one reasonably priced and close to what you're asking was the 97 that was the 2nd of two 97s the original owner bought at the same time.
i would start searching thru the hemmings or other upscale sources that cater to the rare and exotic automobile. you might get lucky....

While the above is true, there are a couple out there. I personally know of a virgin 97 with just over 4,000 miles on it. The question if it would be parted with, would only be answered by how much money was being offered.

i never said i would find one easily. Its not irrealistic but its going to be difficult. If it was mint, maybe i would offer msrp?

I remember last year there was a 97 CW itr that had 12 miles on the odo with window sticker,etc.. that I think was sold for around sticker price
There was recently also a 98 CW ITR that had 3500 on the odo that was around the price of 18k. You have competion because I am also lookin for a virgin low mileage CW

Anyone who had such a car and was willing to sell it for MSRP would have to be an absolute idiot, and such an idiot would likely have been stupid enough to sell it long before now. Is it possible? maybe. Is it likely? NO!
No, you are not being realistic.
My ITR has under 43k on it, and I might be willing to part with it for the right price, but that price would likely be more than your version of reality could accept, considering the above.
