Did it myself, with a little help from my friends
. . (that's me on the left prepping the H22 . . .):

The engine is a 98 USDM H22A4, had ~26k miles on it. Came from larry Jr. at Import Auto Salvage . . .
I can't relate price as it's not my car . . .

Clean motor guys. Seeing the first pic I thought you were trying for a longitudinal setup!
Oh, and OT: I, too, think a H22 Civic track car is asinine. It's a fine drag car, but for the track, a B18C5 will give a Civic chassis more than enough power and not too front heavy. And there's also those crazy VTEC B20s. The H22 is just too much motor for that small chassis and belongs in "big" (LOL) cars like Preludes and Accords.
