anybody here done a all motor f20c?
hi is there anyone here on this forum who has done a all motor f20c and would like to share what has been done to it?? i looking to reach 240 whp and need some advice..right now currently running f20c with i/h/e vafc tuned with wideband 02..pushed 210-215 whp from base line 190 whp on a dynojet here in vancouver bc
we did a 2.5 liter stroker f20c with 11.5:1 compression. It had a stock head and cams on it. You can check out the dyno plots on our website. Up to 7000 rpm it killed a supercharged one in horsepower and torque. It made 239whp and 187ft lbs. torque on our dynojet. We are also in the process of doing a 2.3 liter 12.5:1 which we will post the results of when we finish.
Sweet Jeebus. That is a lot of torque. For a 4-banger at least. Now port that head and get lumpier cams and more compression. Is the 2.3l going to be a F22C overbored? that would be cool to have pics.

ya great dyno results...alot of power for just a stroker kit but whats its redline at?? for sure lose the 9k rpm..was thinking of sticking with the 9krpm and try to squeeze a lil power that i can with major internal work

why do you want to rev so high when you get make power lower in the rpm range?
i'm not complaining or anything because my motor revs a bit past 9000rpm and sometimes i wish the power came early

Crazy. What r/s did you end up with on that 2.5?

well this is how i see it...its like saying why buy a honda?? why not just buy a 350z or some american muscle with mass tq and lower rpms...everyone knows s2k is known for its 9000 rpms...this is why i dislike the 04-05 cuz it lost 1000 rpm and also just for 10 more lbs of tq...i wouldn't mind it if they made it i-vtec..but looks like they didn't do that...if u look at the top racing s2000's for example j's racing and amuse s2000's both kept the 9000 rpms NA for the windy tracks...its not all about the straights u know...just my thoughts thats all
