DEFECTIVE - DEI Viper 350HV Remotes

For those of you that have the newer Viper Alarm model 350HV with the blue, 3 button, triangular remotes (P/N 473V)...
All of them are defective. If you haven't had problems already, expect them to malfunction soon.
There are problems of just being intermittent to not being able to re-code into the alarm for permanent malfunction.
Apparently, the double sided circuitry and the lithium battery design is very fragile to higher pressures that some of us use to push the buttons.
Please call DEI 1-800-876-0800 and complain until they update the design and re-issue better remotes. The more complaints they hear, the faster they will react. Until then, your local Viper dealer should replace them free of charge under DEI's one year warranty on remotes.
