i was just driving to school and all of sudden the car start to lose power when i am in gear going uphill, kinda feel like car is driving in snow.. RPM are just going up and little or no power is trans. to the wheeel. any one have any clue?


clutch was replace 7,000 miles ago by the previous owner.. any idea why. i have a drag kit set at 9 psi btw..thanks..

 

shift to lower gear
most cars will slow down b/c it takes more power to go up hill in a higher gear. just drop down to lower gear and then you'll go just fine

 

yeah probably your clutch

 

my lude did the exact same thing- it was my distributor. my rpms were dropping below one and then id go back up, and id turn it back on, and itd stay on..but id start loosing power and then id would die. i had to get all of it replaced. and now it runs even better!
