Default B20z into 92 Si questions and tech related questions

My head is ending tonight on Ebay and I need a car to drive so I have resorted to bolting my stock b20z head back down to my block and just throwing it in the car. The problem is, I bought a Golden Eagle b20/vtec (84mm) head gasket and I was wondering if I would be able to use the headgasket with a non-vtec head since I already have it?

Also, on top of the manifold there is a huge hole for this...resonator-type thing. Is there something I can plug that up with?

The engine is OBD-2, and I have an OBD-1 harness (VX). Will this be a problem? Will there be a problem running a VTEC harness with a non vtec engine?

Can I use a P75 ECU or will the redline be too high for the b20 bottom end? It already has ARP rod bolts and head studs, p72 oil pump and water pump, ect.

Any help is appreciated guys. Thanks.

the hg doesnt matter what head.

dont even try to run that head past stock revs.

if the harness plugs in what diff could it possibly make, and the ecu wont really care except for the vtec code(s).

i plugged that ghey *** hole in the mani with a coke can once (i think, or some kinda bottle) and ran it while i was working on it. anything truly round will seal it fine, finding something that wont pop out is a different story...

By stock revs, do you mean stock b20 redline or stock ls redline?

i mean the headgasket as for as oil/water is the same between vtec and non anyway. (cept the plugged channel on vtec head of course, but that obviously doesnt matter here ).

and shows how much i pay attention to civic stuff. i was assuming the P75 was vtec. gonna guess its an LS now , in which case i had no idea they were different redlines. but the heads are the same, so it doesnt matter.

and yes, im the same night. how many '85 preludes you know about
