Default Championship winning ITA/H4 CRX Si for sale

Well unfortunatly the time has come for me to sell my ITA/H4 Honda CRX Si
This car is built to the fullest extent. Probably one of the fastest ITA cars in the US. Transmition is fully built with OPM diff and ATS final drive. Engine is new with only one race on it. This engine made the most HP out of any ITA setup we have built yet. This car was last raced in 2003 at the ARRC where it lead most of the race. The car won the DC region SCCA ITA championship in 2002 & 2003, and the Honda Challenge H4 championship in 2002. In 2003 the car finished first in every race entered. The car also holds the ITA track record at summit point and VIR, as well as a few other tracks....needless to say it is very fast and is ready to win. Proven extremely reliable, with little or no work needed between races other than the usual brake pads and tires. I have included some pics of the car.....I am not going to list out all the parts and work done on the car but will upon request to serious inquires only, just email me......I added up money spent on car and it is over $25,000. Like I said everything you can possibly do to an ITA car has been done with only the best parts. I am asking $13,900 obo depending on spares package.

You know, James. Rumor has it H2 will be in big bore next year, so I could possibly run this in H4 and keep running the R in H2. Of course, I'd have to move out of the house after the wife sees me towing it home, but...

Seriously, awesome car here, guys. Somebody ****** this thing up. It's a winner!

If there was ever a time that I'm more frustrated that I'm still in college and only made $13,900 last year, it is now.

I wish you nothing but bad luck in trying to sell this car over the next, oh, lets say, 2 years.

Curious how you have your fuel supply setup....

Fuel cell with exit out the hatch?

Hmmm.................Jason maybe we can work something out where one of us H4 guys takes turns storing it for you between races (for a small fee of course).

We can just tell your wife you went to the store for some break pads when the H4 race is on

Seriously someone buy this car and join the H4 crowd.

Cheers,

Jon (who can vouch for the speed of a properly set up CRX in H4.........just look at Mr. Ginsberg !)

Just don't come down to Florida and expect that to happen. At least if I have something to do about it ...yes, while mine is forsale too, I'm planning on continue driving it. So, as a famous poet once said BRING IT!

By the way, nice car and good luck on the sale

I just bought a 42" monitor for my computer so that I could look at those pictures.

Wish the people I knew looking for race cars had money.. this would be an awesome car for them.. Although if I think about it maybe not.... they would probably end up having a better car than me.

Was the car sold? Nice piece of machinery. How competitive would it be in the west coast?

The car in the issue of Honda Tuning is a mere replica with a way better motor. James is lucky enough to have two of those beasts. That car would be very well equipped for the west coast.
