Autozone Duralast Gold brake pads rock!
I just replaced the front pads on my 2000 lude, and autozone had a carbon metallic one with life time warranty for $42, and Duralast Gold cera-matallic pads with 2 year warranty for $34. I went with the Dura because the surface area of it was larger and the thickness was thicker. I noticed that the Dura also had little copper particles in the pad material just like the OEM ones, except they were a little larger, I've read that this gets rid of brake noise.
Anyway, I just put them on, didn't even bleed my brakes and WOW, what a difference. No more noise, stops much better than the stock pads, and for $34 u can't beat it.
Any comments?

what does this so called "warranty" cover though? brake pads do not last a lifetime. doesn't lifetime=till the world ends, in the business world?
