Insane rubbing... on 15's!
I lowered my 3g teg on h&r race springs. Can you believe it? They have... NEGATIVE WHEEL GAP! I am talking about an inch inside the fender. Holy ****.
I am running 195/55/15 tires and they rub all the time. I cant even turn slowly without it rubbing. I bottom out a lot of the time too. I feel like I crippled my car.
Will changing my tires to a 50 sidewall measurement fix it or should i opt for the gc coilovers?
Thanks.

Why don't you just use the different shock mounts to lift the car up a little and see how that works?
Koni yellow's should have 3 different positions for the springs, on the front the highest is stock, on the rear the middle is.

it sounds like your wheel offset is below -38
anything above -40 should be good with the fenders
and as for the bottom it out part your best drop should be 1.5

yeah that was me. my spring perches were upside down. derp.Ill look tonight. I only see one place to put the spring perch tho.
there is a noticeable one, and then a little indentation below it where a ring might fit, but it is below it.
btw what is offset?

in the koni's there 3 grooves or round indented skinny rings that u can use to raise or lower the hieght of the car. u will need to remove the springs from the shocks and remove the perch. then remove the metal C-Clip thing and put it on the highest position. then reinstall everything back again. u shoulda got some H&R sports bro. race springs drop the car way too much (looks really good though) and the ride is really stiff. u feel everything on the road! i had race springs b4 and swapped it out for some H&R sports! 100 times better ride quality
it does look good, but is only the front rubbing?
is so just raise the perch up fron to even out the drop a lil and it should fix your rubbing problem...race springs and lowest perch = murda..

are you sure you dont have the springs reversed? like fronts in rear, and rear's in front?
you might not think this could be the problem, but it very well could be. spring rates are softer in rear then in front, causing that massive drop in the front like that.

That looks like my car after lowering it. I have 195/50/15. No rubbing at all. I have a full Omnipower coil suspension. I think mine might be a tad lower though. I tried the pop can trick too, and it was a little lower.

this is very possible. your rear looks higher than your front by an inch at least. normally the teg tucks in the rear before it tucks in the front. i'd check it.
