Default Changing brake pads

Planning to change front brake pads, I have seen back brakes being done. Is it the same.. do you have to turn the piston part back to its origin just to replace the pads?

Same as rear except for twisting the piston. It just pushes in.

use a C clamp to push the piston back in, thats it

the rear you use a big screwdriver and turn it in, and it will compress
