Ok..... i want to know why every time some one asks for help or asks something some one has to say some stupid **** or bash on some one just cause they dont know anything, i just think its kinda messed up how people just dont ******* tell you if you dont know then dont reply to there post!!!

you know when youre a freshman and get picked on by seniors.. then cant wait to be a senior so you can pick on some other poor kid and write it off as 'thats just how it is' ... well, thats it. lots of ignorant people out to feel big not by their own merit, but at someone elses expense.

Some people just ask some really stupid *** questions.

The search function isnt very hard to use, you just have to be patient and not give up right away. I think most people are just too lazy to search.

 

I understand where you are coming from. A lot of times someone asks an ignorant question (by our standards) or a question that has been covered to many times to justify a numerical value and they are flamed into next week, and a couple of weeks down the line too. This can be averted and our reputation can be restored if a simple explanation is given or a link which doesn't go to the search engine but another place where this topic has been covered with facts is enough to get them started in the right direction, or at least asking educated facts. But all the useless flaming has to stop and if it is a matter of opinion, keep it to yourself unless you are directly asked it. As for this being a technical forum, only facts --

need to be expressed here. Ignorant questions on the other hand need to be treated a little harsher, but not ***-holic. As with the horse, try to lead them to the water, but don't make them drink it. I have seen the most hopeless newbs in my time rise out of the land of bodykits and 2Fast2Furious mentalities to become real gearheads with plenty of useful and insightful knowledge. If worse comes to worse, report the post to a moderator and instruct them to move the post to a forum where it would be suited better --&gt; I.E. a question on some bumper we all find completely disrespectful to the lines of our car --&gt; Ask nicely to have the same post moved to the Appearance Forum.

That about covers my rant, but if everyone stopped to look around a little before asking to make sure there aren't already seven of the same topics of the front page.....If everyone pulled the pine trees out of their ***....This would be a much more hospitable place.

 

So why is this in the EF forum when it is not a tech question?

If using the search feature, it best to click on the archived option and you'll have much better results.

there is a lot of flaming but you learn to cope with it... kinda like in high school.. hehe....

only thing i'd like to add is when searching, ALWAYS check the archives... that's where most info is. and search using several different strings...

for example when i was searching on exhausts for my crx i searched crx muffler, crx exhaust, crx cat-back, crx axle-back.... then i searched in ONLY the crx forum for muffler, axle-back, cat-back, exhaust.... etc.... it's time consuming, yes... but once you get into the habit of doing so it's quite useful.

I agree with you man.
My mom taught me that , if i have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.
The resource used to be a pretty great place for learning and socializing. I've been unable to become a member for some wierd reason.&lt;----- Thats the only reason i'm here, and not there.

Don't take me wrong or anything. In my book, this place is alright. Would be better if people that could help would do so without the garbage . And those that do help, well, keep up the great work.
