haha, that's awsome, gotta try that. gonna try wearing a respirator too though. aside from uv welding sun burns, epoxy gives off some farty smelling fumes.

what's the settings you use for aluminum. lol

I wear wife beaters(tank tops) in the summer a lot, and to counter the tanlines, I used to go shirtless when welding. THe helmet would shield my chest, the arcs would tan the rest of me. I dont think I really ever got burnt. Ill die when Im 40, but who wants to get old and decrepid anyway? Chances are Ill pass away long before cancer ever takes me(Im fairly crazy).

i weld in shorts, t-shirt, sometimes in flip flops. this 'rig' welding seems a lot safer though.

You can actually RIG weld with no helmet or gloves. I am just extra careful. I also decided to add the ground to the manifold so the JB weld particles ground fully throughout the metal.

If you google it you will see its been around since the late 60's. I believe it was first developed in Germany - that's all I found.

Umm.. I made up 'rig' welding to make fun of the guys who 'rig' their set-ups with JB weld.

I thought it would make for a funny picture.

HAHAAH...thats hilarious! I thought it was gonna be some ghetto style of welding...like the time i watched my neighbor braize an exhaust with a torch and clothes hanger

I welded with a long sleeve shirt one time that had a hole in the sleeve. Well i didnt know it was there until i saw a burn about the size of a nickel on my arm. It sorta looked like a duck. Then it blistered up and peeled like a sunburn...but it never really hurt. Damn i miss welding
