Default Car bogs and sputters when i hit the gas hard.... whats the prob?

OK.... on my LS, sometimes when i give it alot of gas real fast the car will kind of like sputter and just stop making power! If i push in the clutch for a second and let it back out, the car will feel like its not making much power then all the sudden it will like catch... and go back to normal (it kinda feels like an electrical connection isnt being made then all the sudden it is).
It doesnt do it everytime i give it full throttle, but enough to really **** me off. I think it might be something with the ignition but i'm not sure what to check... help me out guys.

look through your distributor those wires going from the ignitor to the coil can get old and brittle and the connections may loosen over time. whens the last time you had a tune up done ?? plugs/wires/cap/rotor ?

Hope you find out what it is. Mine is doing the same thing, it bogs down to the point to where it almost stops, then it just clicks and goes like a bat out of hell. It's like you could floor it while it's doing it and nothing, almost like the motor is just off.

Do a good tune up, plugs wires, cap rotor, fuel filter...if that doesnt solve it, than you fucked something up!

do u think it can be caused by my distributor getting wet? one of my hoses was leaking a few weeks ago and was spraying at the dizzy... now that i think about it, it started with this problem right after the dizzy got wet

A definite yes. If you do know what you are doing, then please check your distributor. It is a good advice to have a manual in hand.

it's either gonna be an ignition problem : bad, wires, plugs, rotor, coil, etc. OR a bad TPS sensor
