Default B18b motor/tranny questions

I haven't found any detailed answer to give me what I need.

So.. I have a B18b and am looking into a gsr tranny-does this need an adapter for hydro trannys? Do I order a clutch for the engine number or tranny model?

Also has anyone gone LS-T with a gsr tranny? How did it feel accel/top end wise?

I have started building this motor to run perfectly stock with a t4e @6-8psi . Any suggestions from LS-T owners.

TIA

You can bolt up the hydro transmission same as you would a cable style, but reminder that with the case of the hydro transmission you either have to rig up a cable to hydro conversion, or you have to run the hard lines for the hydroaulic system. Also, you would need the clutch and pressure plate associated with the transmission.

All you have to get is the hasport hydro - cable conv. kit with the hydro tranny mount

Yea you have to get the clutch for the tranny. And i hope you mean a t3/t04e...if its a striaght t04e then youre gonna have a REALLY hard time spooling that thing with a stock engine. Putting a turbo that size on a stock engine is like putting a 3" exhaust on a stock d15....pointless.

most of the actual clutches are the same, all pressure plates the same, clutch disc vary between 90-91, 92-01. only difference is throwout bearing because it switches from cable 92-93 and hydro 94 and up.
