I'm trying to remove my motor mounts because I was a mean owner and didn't replace the front one and now I have 3 broken ones. I'm trying to remove the driver's side motor mount. I got the main pin out and the first bolt (one closest to the front) but I was wondering how do I get the rear bolt off. Does the nut unscrew that's on the top or is that welded in. TIA

 

that nut is welded on from the top...remove the bolt from the bottom. (if this is the one towards the front of car)

 

It's the one to the rear. I already got the one in the front off. Thanks for the help tho

 

huh? you said you were trying to replace the drivers side engine mount. theres one through bolt and one bolt that threads in from the bottom, and another bolt or nut, i dont remember, but it comes off from the top. jus follow what i said.

 

See if this will help Engine Removal The bolt towards the front is removed from the bottom, the nut on top at the back bolt is removed from the top.
