I honestly have never heard of them. They seem to be up there in price. I would venture to say that your 'good' price on those is pretty close to a real price on an established brand.

I would advise you to stick with a pad/mfg. with a proven track record. Check out (in alpha. order): Carbotech, Cobalt Friction, Porterfield & Hawk.

I have tried them all & prefer the Cobalt Friction pads.

Full Disclosure: I liked them so much that I became a dealer. I sell Cobalt Friction to H-T.com members @ 10% off. I can also get you Hawk. http://www.pdqmotorsports.net

If you want to be a pioneer you can buy them and tell us about them later. Are you going to change pads/rotors at the track or are you driving to the events? Looking at what they say those pads may be pretty spooky on the street when cold or not. I am a fan of carbotechs and run the 1009s. They work good enough cold to drive to the track. The price for Carbotechs is about what you are looking at anyhow. There is plenty of info with the search function in this forum on the carbotechs, cobalt friction, Hawks etc. to make a good choice. If you buy them report back.

If the price is 'right' and I do decide to buy, I would have them and their own rotors for track only. I'm brave and crazy but not stupid

If I were a betting man, I'd wager a large sum these were nothing more than a private labeled something that's already on the market...

XP8/9 > *

Edit: rotors are $165 each and pads are $240 per set? Do they last the whole season?

well, seeing that i am the one selling the pads, i may be a bit biased....

seriously though, it is a high temp pad, that would not be the best for street use, at best just going to the track, then coming home and swapping out if used on a daily driver.
Yasu (ATS Usa) uses them on his Scca SPU car, so they obviously work in a race environment ( he won a few regionals last year). he still uses the same compound, although only in a different fitment. the reason for selling is that he changed up to skyline calipers a while back, and these are left over.
i have 2 sets of front pads $100 each set.
