cable trannies came in 88-91 civic, and 90-3 integras, different mounts, mounting points, different size gears and case then compared to 92-00 civics and 94-01 integra, which uses hydro tranny,

also it is easier to use the same type of tranny (cable or hydro) your came with, otherwise, alot of work will be required....

What is the difference between cable and hydro tranny?
a "cable" tranny means that the clutch is operated via a cable. a "hydro" tranny means that the clutch is operated by hydraulic pressure, similiar to the way brakes work.
