sounds like a very nice setup you have there.
But place this in the classifieds and you should be able to sell quick.

It's not for sale.....I'm just contemplating it. I had it for sale before and just couldn't sell it. The car is so fun to drive. Plus I have omni coils on the way...

It doesn't surprise me that you had a difficult time selling. The market for a highly-modded ITR is extremely small (and it's not like the market for any ITR is all that large to begin with). And of the small number of folks who want all those mods, a lot of them want to choose and install the mods themselves, rather than buying a modded car.

That's why it's difficult to state flat-out what a highly-modded car is worth. It takes luck. If you're lucky enough to find someone who wants almost exactly the mods that you've done, you might get a very good price for it. Otherwise, you might have to settle for significantly less than the car might be worth without the mods. It's a crapshoot.

Good luck...

I tried to sell my car before I had the motor rebuilt......And when I said I just couldn't sell it I meant I couldn't let the car go because I love it so much, not that it wouldnt sell. Curt941 on here was going to buy it but instead I kept it and had it rebuilt. There's alot of ricers with money where I live so I'm sure I could sell it. I'm just trying to get respectable opinoins from other ITR owners.....

its obvious you love the car, so why not just pinch a little and get a cheaper type truck that would allow you to keep the 98 as a weekend/events champ...thats if money is an issue, otherwise why not have both if you can afford it?

but to answer your question, your asking price is fair. however, even with all the papers and reputation on the work, sometimes seeing the word "rebuilt" anywhere in the description along with a long list of mods can make me somewhat anxious. i'm sure your R is solid and running perfect as you claim, but its always a trust-building thing to convince the seller of the product. good luck.

PS-its sad that other people...haters, theifs, ricers etc....can affect the decisions of honest decent people just trying to get on with their lives, especially decisons they wouldnt normally make
