Mid-Ohio Racing Schedule - Spectator Events
Found this at Mid-Ohio's website: http://www.midohio.com/events/default.asp
Interesting to see that they moved the ALMS weekend to the end of May from the end of June, and they have combined the Grand Am weekend with the Triple Crown Tuner Challenge. Should make for another great year of racing at Mid-Ohio.

Actually, World Challenge will be the support races for the ALMS weekend in May. Should be some great racing with the springtime weather in Ohio.
AWESOME stuff.....so now what will our entry fee jump to run with Grand Am?
I am going to have hit this event for sure, to make up for last seasons dismal finish.....can't wait...

Hopefully NASA can be a part of the Triple Crown Tuner Challenge like we were this past year, and make it the 2nd annual HC National event. That would be awesome to be a support race for a Grand Am Cup event.
I hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't bet on NASA being part of the Triple Crown weekend.
The weekend already has:
-3 hr Rolex race on Saturday night
-2-3 hr Grand-Am Cup race on Sunday
-US F2000 double header
-Formula Renault (pretty sure)
Throw in practice, qualifying, and all the Triple Crown ricer activities, and where does that leave room for NASA?
That Triple Crown thing was dumb anyway, I hate to see it associated with a quality racing series like Grand-Am, and its too bad NASA alone isn't a spectator draw.

Yes, I was just thinking the same thing after I posted, and I agree, the tuner stuff seemed like a big waste of quality track time. You are correct that a NASA weekend in and of itself isn't a big spectator draw.

Also have to consider the cost of actually running with a pro event. I doubt it will be the normal $400 for the weekend with Grand am, and most people are on tight budgets. If they do have it, the track time may be similar to what the BMWCC had with the Grand am last year having 2 races and 2 qualifying with everybody grouped together, and almost no spectators. Really this will be up to the organizers in Nasa, intrested to see the outcome
