i cant find any one in my area that will expand 4in pipe or can get an adapter to go between 4 and 4.5. this is really starting to frustrate me. i have a couple of ideas but i wanted to see what you all could come up with.

lemme look around.

 

if you cant find anyting you could always make a cone type reducer out of some sheet metal.

 

you could cut notches in the end and press it down to make your own reducer.

Yeah that's what I would say, make your own.

 

take a piece of 4" pipe to a muffler shop and have them flare one end to 4.5". That is the cheap and easy route.

 

no shops can flare 4", were i am it seams like the larger you go the less common haf sizes are. but i an going to try the hooker collector and if that fails i will make a cone.

 

email me the dimensions and i can make a paper template for a cone reducer and take a photo with visible dimensions. theres a kinda sorta formula but its not something explainable

 

lol we offer reducers and can go all the way to 5 we even have 4.5 inch tubing

they even come in long or short tapers 304 Mild Steel 321 6061
